FOOD & BEVERAGE
If you are looking to host an event or gathering on campus where food and/or beverages are offered and purchased with University funds, you must use either Palm & Pine Catering or a University-approved caterer. Learn more at Business Services – UF Catering.
An approved GatorConnect permit is required for all Mobile Food Facilities on University property. This map shows the pre-approved locations on main campus that may be requested with a General Events or Run/Walk permit. Learn more at Business Services – Mobile Food Facilities Locations.

Under certain conditions University departments may self-cater and host “pot-luck” style events. Requests must be submitted and approved through the GatorConnect System, and a Self-Catered Event Form must be completed and retained by the hosting department for 30 days. Permits
Temporary structures shall not be erected, operated, or maintained for any purpose without obtaining approval from Environmental Health and Safety. Learn more at EH&S – Temporary Structures on Campus – Including Tents.
The purpose of a Dig Permit is to prevent injury to any individual performing ground penetrating activity as well as injury to students and University employees, avoid damage to University and non-University utilities, and to ensure uninterrupted utility service to our customers.
