GatorConnect Permitting
GatorConnect is the University of Florida’s Event Permitting System (EPS) for on-campus events and temporary signage requests. To initiate the permitting process, please submit your request through GatorConnect.
Space and User Guidelines
UF buildings, facilities, and outdoor areas support the University’s mission and are primarily reserved for students, faculty, staff, and related organizations. However, some spaces may be available for use by non-University groups when not in use and under certain conditions. Learn what spaces you may reserve based on your affiliation with UF.
Campus Venues
The University of Florida is home to a wide range of beautiful and functional venues that can be reserved for events of all kinds. From historic halls and scenic outdoor plazas to modern meeting rooms and spacious auditoriums, UF offers the perfect backdrop for everything from professional meetings and academic gatherings to celebrations like weddings and receptions. Whether you’re part of the campus community or an external guest, our facilities combine charm, convenience, and flexibility.
Regulations and Policies
The University of Florida is committed to maintaining a safe, well-managed, and respectful environment for all campus activities. To support this goal, UF has established a comprehensive set of policies and regulations that govern how university space may be used. These guidelines were carefully developed not only to align with the university’s mission and values, but also to address safety concerns, preserve campus resources, and minimize disruption to university operations. Policies cover a wide range of topics including event permitting, amplified sound, food service, signage, youth compliance, and more. Before planning your event or reserving a space, we encourage you to review the applicable university policies.
Event Resources
Planning an event at the University of Florida involves coordination across multiple campus units. This section provides helpful links and contact information for services that support on-campus events, including facilities setup, printing, parking, catering, and more. Please note that these resources are managed by individual departments outside of the Office of the Vice President for Business Affairs.
