Read moreRavish Paul of Facilities Services & John Lawson of Facilities Services were the Elite Gator Award winners in February due to reducing operating costs by $10,000 monthly (sustainable energy savings). They both review building floorplans and mechanical drawings of facilities in effort to ensure systems are providing proper ventilation to create a safe environment for our students, faculty, and staff, even during the pandemic.
These two winners, Major Brad Barber (UFPD) and Allen Masters (Facilities Services), have gone above and beyond their daily duties by teaming up and coordinating a holiday parade which included Santa on a sleigh for the Baby Gator daycare center children in December. Congratulations Major Barber and Allen!
““Jason transitioned to a position in managing the Utilities Distribution team along with developing a 24/7 Plant Operations team for the new Vet-Med CEP Plant. He is directly responsible for the oversight of the Utilities steam and chilled water distribution along with the HSC buildings boiler operations. Despite the overwhelming amount of work that everyone has, Jason consistently finds ways to identify operational improvements and money savings.” Congratulations!
