The University of Florida’s “Chomp & Go!” has recently won Food Management Magazine’s 2021 “Best Concept Awards.”
“Chomp & Go!” from UF Gator Dining delivers a new concept that could be utilized in multiple locations across campus also giving each location a branded signature offering, while utilizing local, minority and women-owned businesses.
The innovative concept of it being one location with many options for customers could propel and evolve other dining locations. By highlighting locally owned businesses, each site would have unique signature offers and menu plans. No area would have the same menu, thus creating a destination dining experience for guests.
Food Management Magazine’s “Best Concept Awards” program recognizes innovative and creative initiatives undertaken by dining operations, like “Chomp & Go!”
