Bio: “I have been in campus law enforcement for 12 years, 7 of the years with UFPD. I have served as a Field Training Officer, K9 Officer and currently an officer assigned to Community Services. I have also been a member of our Honor Guard, Way Finder program, bicycle unit and rifle team.”

What is an identity you’re proud to share?

“I love to educate others and build their knowledge and confidence. From my self-defense and active assailant classes, or in my First Year Florida class, I love to teach. Seeing someone else’s confidence and ability grow is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.”

What does your role entail?

“My current assignment with UFPD is in our Community Services Division making my role community outreach. I am responsible for all the new employee and student orientations, self-defense classes, bike registration, bike light and helmet distribution. I also provide Coffee with a Cop to our community and Cookies with a Cop at our 3 Baby Gator locations here on main campus. My most important role is that I am K9 Libby’s “mom”. Beyond explosive detection we provide campus engagement as you see us across campus.”

What is your favorite part about working at UF?

“Being able to affect positive influence in our community.”

Fun fact about you:

“I love my Harley-Davidson and travel on two wheels as much as I can.”
